We begin and end with the idea driving the conversation. We have found that it is critical to have a short overview of the idea/product. For this purpose we will work with our clients to produce a simple overview using the National Science Foundation (NSF) Project pitch Guidelines. Even if you do not decide to submit an SBIR/STTR proposal to NSF this is a great guide for organizing your thoughts.

The NSF Pitch Proposal is broken into four short sections:

The Technology Innovation. (Up to 500 words)

The Technical Objectives and Challenges. (Up to 500 words)

The Market Opportunity. (Up to 250 words)

The Company and Team. (Up to 250 words)
